The STADS Datathon is the event that blends the excitement of a hackathon with the world of data analysis—no prior IT experience required! Here, you’ll get the chance to work in a team, be creative, solve real-world problems, and gain a deeper understanding of working with quantitative data. Whether you're a data newbie or a seasoned pro, the Datathon is the place to be.

How the Datathon works

You’ll work in a team (about 3-5 people) for 48 hours on a challenge that you pick. More details about the partners and challenges will be shared in the coming days on the Partners, Challenges, and Prizes page. At the end of the 48 hours, you’ll pitch your results in a brief presentation. A jury will then vote on the teams and decide the top 3 winners of the Data Bootcamp.

New: Speed Dating Sessions

This year, we’re introducing something new: Speed Dating Sessions. These 1:1 chats with our partners give you a chance to network in a relaxed setting and show off your networking skills.#

Location and Refreshments

We’re making sure everything is set for optimal focus and maximum fun! There will be plenty of food and drinks for both days. The Datathon will take place at Cubex One, one of the best coworking spaces in Mannheim.
